Subscription streaming broadcaster Viaplay has acquired exclusive live Swedish broadcast rights to FIS World Cup events held in Austria in a deal with Eurovision Sport, the sports arm of the European Broadcasting Union.

The deal runs from 2024-25 to 2026-27 and strengthens a Viaplay portfolio that already includes rights in the Nordic region to FIS World Cup events held in other countries. The agreement covers rights to around 30 Austrian events each season and includes men’s and women’s competitions, all qualifying rounds and finals.
