Global telecommunications company Verizon has signed a multiyear, multi-faceted partnership with the National Hockey League, which has a focus on 5G cellular network connectivity.
As part of the deal, Verizon has been designated the league's official 5G partner, official wireless services partner, and official mobile edge computing (MEC) partner in the United States. Verizon also becomes an official technology partner for the league.
