Australia’s opening match at this year’s Women’s World Cup, which it will co-host with New Zealand, is set to move from Allianz Stadium to Accor Stadium to ensure a higher attendance for the fixture.

Australia is due to play Ireland at the 42,500-capacity Allianz Stadium on July 20 but the Sydney Morning Herald has reported that Fifa is planning on switching the fixture to the 83,500-capacity Accor Stadium.
