The city of Vancouver, Canada, is officially in the frame to host games during the 2026 Fifa World Cup, four years after dropping out of consideration for the showpiece global soccer tournament.

If selected, games will be played at BC Place, which is home to Major League Soccer’s Vancouver Whitecaps and the Canadian Football League’s BC Lions. The venue also hosted the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup Final.
