US Soccer, USWNT reach $24m settlement over equal pay lawsuit

The United States Soccer Federation and members of the US women's national team have reached a $24m (€21m) settlement to resolve the equal pay lawsuit which has cast a major shadow over the organization for the past three years.

As part of the agreement, the USWNT players will receive a lump sum of $22m, which will be distributed in a manner proposed by the players and approved by the District Court.
