The United States Soccer Federation has signed a multi-year partnership with restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill, which will be designated the official Mexican restaurant of the men’s and women’s national teams, as well as the US Soccer Development Academy.

As part of the partnership, which was brokered by Soccer United Marketing, Chipotle will support the national teams during their preparations for major competitions including the 2020 Olympics and 2022 Fifa World Cup.

Additionally, Chipotle will be present at the US Soccer Girls’ and Boys’ Development Academy, which has more than 160 clubs and 17,000 players competing in more than 11,500 games across the country.

US national team players Christian Pulisic, Julie Ertz, Rose Lavelle, and Sebastian Lletget will be the face of Chipotle’s “Real Food for Real Athletes” campaign, which is focused on helping athletes of all levels perform their best by providing proper nutrition through real food and ingredients for their athletic endeavors.

Elsewhere, USWNT World Cup winner Becky Sauerbrunn has been selected as president of the United States Women’s National Team Players Association. It is a newly-created position within the organization.

Additionally, USWNT players Kelley O’Hara will serve as vice president-secretary and Samantha Mewis as vice president-treasurer.
