US Open sets all-time attendance record

Tennis’ US Open set an all-time attendance record this year, attracting 737,872 fans to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, New York, throughout the two weeks of the main draw.

Arthur Ashe Stadium sold out 23 of 24 sessions in this time frame.

Combined with the record 115,355 attendance during US Open Fan Week, the total three-week attendance surpassed 850,000 for the first time at 853,227.

Last year, the tennis grand slam attracted 732,663 fans for the two-week main draw and 828,798 fans in total.
