Jack Buckner has today (Thursday) been appointed as the new chief executive of UK Athletics, an announcement that sees him return to the sport in which he made his name as an athlete.
Buckner joins UK Athletics having served as chief executive of British Swimming since October 2017. He will replace interim chief executive Mark Munro, who has served in this capacity since the departure of Jo Coates last year.
