Uefa’s Uva ‘lined up’ as new CEO of Milan-Cortina 2026

Uefa executive Michele Uva is being lined up to swap European football’s governing body for the chief executive role at Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026, local organising committee for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Italy, according to reports.

Uva, currently director of football and social responsibility at Uefa, is the favoured name of three candidates to take over from Vincenzo Novari, according to Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore.
