European football’s governing body Uefa is said to have warned the leaders of the UK and Ireland’s joint bid to host Euro 2028 that it is concerned at delays in providing guarantees on various issues, including possible naming rights for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
According to The Times, Uefa sent a list of questions to the UK and Ireland bid after the preliminary bid dossier was submitted last month and made it clear that the issues needed to be resolved quickly.
