Uefa has announced the launch of a tender process for the provision of various technological and broadcasting services to be deployed at certain competitions run by European football’s governing body from 2024 onwards.

Through the tender, which includes men’s and women’s club and national team competitions, Uefa said it is particularly keen to open talks with companies or consortiums capable of delivering turn-key solutions relevant to the following four areas:

  • Football technologies (Video Assistant Referee (VAR), Goal Line Technology (GLT), Player Performance Tracking Data (EPTS), Coaching and Medical Review AV Feed Services);
  • data gathering;
  • TV graphics and venue feeds creation;
  • analytical platforms for video and data.
Through this process, Uefa said it is “hoping to expand the knowledge of relevant service providers and (by reference to the accuracy and reliability of their solutions) their capability to meet Uefa’s demanding operational expectations”.
