European football’s governing body Uefa has announced record revenues for 2020-21 despite hosting a delayed, pandemic-hit European Championship.
The record revenue figure of €5.725bn ($6.04bn) was considerably higher than the €3.028bn received in 2019-20 and also higher than the €4.58bn generated in 2015-16, the period covering the previous European Championship, held in France in 2016.
