The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has revealed the racing format and other plans for its inaugural UCI Track Cycling Champions League, which launches in November this year.
The new competition, which was announced last year, is a collaboration between the UCI and Eurosport Events and is intended to “revitalise” the track cycling calendar, creating a regular touchpoint between World Championships and Olympic Games.
