Turner acquires rights to Uruguay-Brazil, Band ‘eyes free-to-air rights’

Pay-television broadcaster Turner has acquired the pay-television rights to tomorrow’s (November 17) Fifa World Cup qualifier between Uruguay and Brazil, while commercial broadcaster Band is still in the frame to acquire free-to-air rights to the match.

Turner agreed a deal for the game with the Mediapro agency, UoL reports, which holds the rights to Uruguay’s home World Cup qualifiers.
