TRAFFIC DISAPPOINTED WITH POOR COPA TICKET SALES

The matches, in which Mexico beat Chile and Uruguay beat Costa Rica, were only two thirds sold. Traffic?s Jose Lazaro said: ?Originally they told me that all the tickets had been sold, but that wasn’t so. I’m disappointed.?
Meanwhile, Traffic is facing a claim for $5million (?5.74m) compensation from Argentine TV channel Artear-Canal 13. The channel had bought exclusive rights to show all of Argentina?s Copa matches and was selling advertising slots at $1,000 (?1,148) per second, before Argentina withdrew from the tournament amid security scares.
Artear?s parent company Grupo Clarin is trying go get a refund from Traffic, or a credit against future rights sales.
