Tottenham Hotspur to play Crystal Palace in first game at new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed they will play Crystal Palace in their first official game at their new stadium on Wednesday, April 3.

The announcement follows Brighton and Hove Albion’s progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, following victory over Millwall on Sunday.

Tottenham’s Premier League tie with Brighton will now be played on April 23 or 24.

Prior to the Palace game, Tottenham will hold two test events in the next fortnight: the club’s under-18s side play Southampton on Sunday and there will be a Legends game against Inter Milan on March 30.

Tottenham have denied claims that their new home – which has been beset by delaysis set to be called ‘The Nike Stadium’.
