Toronto opts against joining 2024 Olympic bid race

Toronto Mayor John Tory confirmed today (Tuesday) that the city will not be making a late bid for the 2024 Olympic Games, but added that an advisory group will be formed to target future major sports events in the wake of the feel-good factor generated from hosting the 2015 Pan American Games.
