Tom Brady, Kim Clijsters invest in Major League Pickleball team

Seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady and former World No. 1 women's tennis player Kim Clijsters are part of an ownership group that has purchased an expansion team for the 2023 Major League Pickleball season.

The announcement comes just weeks after an ownership group made up of National Basketball Association stars LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Kevin Love invested in an expansion team in the league as it grows from 12 to 16 teams and doubles its events from three to six. Former NFL quarterback Drew Brees also invested in a MLP team Mad Drops Pickleball Club earlier this year.
