Tokyo Paralympics to go ahead without fans

The upcoming Paralympic Games in Tokyo will go ahead without spectators amid ongoing Covid-19 restrictions in the Japanese capital.

The Games are due to run from August 24 to September 5 but events will be held in empty venues, it was confirmed today (Monday). The announcement comes after Tokyo’s Olympic Games went ahead without fans.
