The organising committee for the Tokyo 2020 summer Olympic and Paralympic Games has today (Wednesday) formally confirmed its budget plans for the first time, with between Y1.6tr (€13.1bn/$13.6bn) and Y1.8tr having been allocated to deliver the two events.
