Tiley: 2022 Australian Open will not be shifted overseas

Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley has said that the event will stay in Melbourne in 2022 after reports suggested it could be moved to the Middle East.

Public broadcaster ABC reported earlier today (Monday), that the Australian Open could be moved to either Dubai or Doha after the government predicted that international borders would stay closed until the middle of 2022.
