Thorns GM Wilkinson placed on leave as NWSL players, fans hold protests

The National Women's Soccer League's Portland Thorns have placed club president and general manager Gavin Wilkinson on administrative leave pending the outcome of an outside investigation into his handling of sexual coercion allegations involving former head coach Paul Riley and his departure from the organization.
