France’s Professional Football League (LFP) is set to require a new venue for its 2023 Trophée des Champions with organisers in Bangkok reported to be set to drop the hosting rights.
The LFP announced in March that the Trophée des Champions would head to the Thai capital this year after two consecutive editions in Tel Aviv. The annual meeting between the Ligue 1 champion and the winner of the Coupe de France was due to take place at the 51,550-seat Rajamangala National Stadium on August 5.
