Shanghai is set to host a range of major international sporting events in 2023 after almost three years of cancellations and postponements due to problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in China.
Although Shanghai’s hopes of hosting the Chinese Grand Prix this year were ended yesterday (Tuesday) as Formula 1 confirmed its 2023 calendar, returning events will include Masters tennis and snooker tournaments.
