Tebas questions Premier League’s financial sustainability, calls on EU to regulate clubs

Javier Tebas, the president of Spain's LaLiga, has questioned the financial sustainability of the English Premier League and called on the European Union to regulate the continent's football clubs.

Speaking today (Thursday) at a conference in Brussels organised by LaLiga on how to protect European football’s ecosystem, Tebas said: "The Premier League is not a sustainable model, they are financed by the owners with enormous amounts of money, and that is distorting the market.
