Professional boxers will be eligible to complete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro after the International Boxing Association (Aiba) today (Wednesday) endorsed the controversial move.
Boxing referees and judges involved in controversial points decisions at the Olympic Games will take no further part in the competition after being stood down by the sport’s governing body.
