Tasmanian government ‘pledges A$150m for new AFL franchise’ in latest expansion talks

The Tasmanian state government has offered to contribute A$150m ($107.8m/€161m) to the establishment of a new Australian Football League (AFL) franchise based in the region, according to media reports.
