Fifa World Cup rights deals agreed in Hong Kong and the Philippines, date change confirmed

Media rights for this year's Fifa World Cup have been acquired by Now TV in Hong Kong and Tap DMV in the Philippines, in deals brokered by the Infront agency.

Pay-television platform Now TV and its sister free-to-air broadcaster ViuTV have acquired exclusive rights in Hong Kong. Now TV will show live coverage of all 64 matches, in 4K resolution. ViuTV will show 19 matches live, including the opening match, the two semi-finals and the final.
