Tampere Arena signs Nokia as new naming rights sponsor

Telecommunications company Nokia has acquired naming rights to a new multi-purpose arena in the Finnish city of Tampere after the venue recently terminated a deal with previous sponsor, technology company Uros Oy.

The 13,455-seat arena, which will open in December and serve as a host venue for the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships, will officially be known as Nokia Arena.
