Tampa Bay Rowdies and Norwich City FC ink partnership

EFL Championship side Norwich City FC has inked a partnership deal with USL Championship side the Tampa Bay Rowdies. The transatlantic partnership will involve both commercial and technical considerations.

Last November during the international break, Norwich City held a warm weather training camp in Florida, with the Rowdies’ Al Lang Stadium playing host to training sessions as well as meetings between coaches from both clubs. Norwich City also has a sponsorship partnership with Visit Tampa Bay, the Florida region’s tourist development agency.

“There are so many synergies between our two clubs – far more than just the shared colors – so we’re delighted and really proud to be able to formalise our partnership,” said Norwich City’s head of partnership activation Sam Jeffery. “The Rowdies are owned by the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team and their whole mantra is to be ambitious and work to bring young players through. That approach cascades down to the Rowdies and we want to share that same ambition with them.”
