TAB New Zealand lobbying to relax country’s gambling laws

Sports betting monopoly TAB New Zealand has announced it is lobbying the country’s government to overturn gambling laws that prevent customers from placing bets on novelty markets.

TAB NZ’s general manager of marketing and customer experience, Jodi Williams, told New Zealand-based website Stuff the monopoly is participating in a “legislative process” that could see gambling laws relaxed.
