Sydney Football Stadium is to host a triple-header of sports events to celebrate reopening after a A$828m ($598.4m/€553.1m) redevelopment, the New South Wales government has announced.

The state-owned ground, which was demolished in 2019 pending a complete rebuild, will open its doors to the public for the first time almost four years on August 28 as part of a free community open day.
