Supreme Court proposes major changes for BCCI and IPL

India’s Supreme Court has proposed that former India cricket captain Sunil Gavaskar temporarily replaces the under-pressure N. Srinivasan as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), adding that the Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals should not compete in the 2014 Indian Premier League (IPL) amid the spot-fixing and betting scandal engulfing the competition.
