French Ligue 1 club RC Strasbourg has confirmed that its president Marc Keller met with Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly amid reports that the American investor is keen to add a French club to his portfolio.
According to L’Equipe, Boehly is “very interested” in acquiring a 100-per-cent stake in Strasbourg and is keen to follow the example set by other American investors by loaning players from Chelsea to the Ligue 1 club, while also sharing scouting and other technical information.
