Stats Perform has signed a multi-year agreement to collect and distribute the official data across Conmebol men’s, women’s and U20 competitions.

The agreement encompasses the worldwide data rights to the Copa América international team tournament and international club competitions the Copa Libertadores, Conmebol Sudamericana and Conmebol Recopa.

Under the deal, the company will collect match data and player statistics and distribute them to global betting operators.

The deal builds on a four-year agreement between the two parties, signed in January, which granted Stats Perform the official rights to distribute Conmebol club competition matches for streaming on betting services to broadcasters and to sports media and fantasy game operators.

Stats Perform’s portfolio of official betting and media rights also includes deals with LaLiga, Ligue 1 and Major League Soccer.

Alex Rice, Stats Perform’s head of rights acquisition commented: “High quality soccer betting experiences rely on the fastest, most accurate game data and player statistics which are trusted and consistent, across all key channels.

FC Diez Media, the joint venture established by the IMG agency and digital media company DAZN Group, holds the global commercial rights to Conmebol club competitions from 2019 to 2022.

Japanese advertising agency Dentsu signed an eight-year deal with Conmebol in October 2019 for the rights to the next three editions of the Copa América.

The deal covers three Copa América international tournaments in 2020, 2024 and 2028 and includes the acquisition of all global commercial rights, including sponsorship, broadcasting, licencing, gaming, ticketing and hospitality.
