State-backed report details risks behind Boston’s failed Olympic bid

An independent audit of Boston’s failed bid plan for the 2024 Olympics has been released, detailing that the economic impact of the summer Games would have been lower than projected by bid backers and the costs would likely have been at least $970m (€880.2m) higher.
