Building products retailer Stark has agreed a deal to sponsor the Danish Football Association (DBU).

The two-year deal names Stark as an official partner of Denmark’s men’s national team, joining Carlsberg, Dankse Spil, Arbejdernes Landsbank and Hummel.

Denmark is currently second in its qualifying group for next year’s Uefa European Championships, a point behind the Republic of Ireland. The first match that Stark will sponsor will be the Euro 2020 qualifier against Switzerland on October 12.

Stark will also sponsor the ‘Old Boys’ national team, which is made up of Danish legends. Its logo will feature on the shirts of the team, which plays between five and seven matches a year.
