Stan Sport to air Sonny Bill Williams bout on new PPV service Stan Event

Stan Sport has confirmed it will broadcast the upcoming bout between New Zealand rugby player-turned-boxer Sonny Bill Williams and Australian rules football star Barry Hall on a new pay-per-view platform.

It was reported last week that Stan, the subscription streaming service of media group Nine Entertainment, would use the fight to launch a rival to Foxtel’s Main Event, which is currently Australia’s only sports PPV channel.
