Tottenham Hotspur has announced that it has renewed its agreement with ticket sales and distribution company Ticketmaster, and says that the expanded deal will see the two collaborate on innovative technological advancements in the ticketing space.

The club describes the new agreement as a “first of its kind”, noting that the two parties have already begun working on innovative ticketing solutions. In December, when lockdown conditions in London allowed for two games to be played in front of fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ticketmaster created a fully digital “ticketing journey” for supporters, issuing  4,000 digital-only passes which enabled them to enter and leave the ground using their mobile devices.
