SPOTV agrees carriage, badminton deals in Indonesia

Pan-regional Asia-Pacific sports broadcaster SPOTV has agreed distribution deals in Indonesia with media group MNC and telco Telkom Indonesia.

SPOTV has also agreed a sublicensing deal with MNC for free-to-air linear television rights for Badminton World Federation events. SPOTV last week announced the acquisition of BWF rights in 12 Asia-Pacific markets, in a deal covering 2022 to 2026.
