Streaming service SPOTV Now has acquired media rights in Japan for Scottish Premiership football in a deal beginning with the upcoming 2022-23 season.

SPOTV's deal covers rights for one live match per round - 38 matches per season. Its coverage will focus on Glasgow Celtic matches. The team has four Japanese players in its squad, signed by manager Ange Postecoglou who joined the club from J.League team Yokohama F Marinos last year.
