SpotOn partners with Diamondbacks, three MiLB teams

Cloud-based software and payments provider SpotOn has expanded its presence within professional baseball by striking partnerships with Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks, as well as Minor League Baseball teams Arkansas Travelers, Durham Bulls, and Sacramento River Cats, during the 2022 season.

At Chase Field, SpotOn has added 383 point-of-sale stations, 51 handheld devices, three kiosks, and 40 kitchen display system (KDS) systems to help increase transaction speed for the 2022 Diamondbacks season.

“We’re thrilled to help the MLB teams usher in this new age of flexible stadium technology that offers them the ability to be nimble and adapt to changing environments,” said RJ Horsely, SpotOn chief operating officer.

"As they welcome back fans at full capacity and SpotOn is at the ready to help operators introduce a faster, more efficient commerce experience with flexible  technology like a point-of-sale that can easily be repurposed as a self-service kiosk in the face of staff shortages," Horsely said.

The San Francisco, California-based SpotOn has partnerships with more than half the MLB teams, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and Boston Red Sox, among many others.
