Organisers of the 2022 European Championships in Munich, Germany have today (Tuesday) confirmed the sports programme for the second edition of the multi-sport event.
Munich’s European Championships is set to take place from August 11-21, 2022 – the year of the 50th anniversary of the summer Olympic Games in the German city. Today’s announcement comes just over a year after nine sports were locked in for the Championships, with beach volleyball, canoe sprint, sport climbing and table tennis announced as additions to the programme.
