Instagram delivers Olympic Sports Federations the best engagement, report claims

Social media platform Instagram may not deliver the largest audiences but is where Olympic Sports Federations find the most engagement, according to a new report.

The finding, from the Burson Cohn & Wolfe Sports Practice’s 2018 Olympic Sports Social Media Ranking, was in contrast to results from Facebook, where the total fan count of the 56 federations examined was 48 million but engagement had declined significantly since the 2017 report.
