A court in the municipality of Majadahonda is reported to have opened an investigation into the role of Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales and Gerard Piqué, captain of FC Barcelona and co-founder of the Kosmos agency, in the long-term deal for Saudi Arabia to host the Supercopa de España club competition.

Judge Delia Rodrigo has decided to admit a complaint brought forward by Miguel Galán, president of the National School of Football Coaches (CENAFE), according to multiple Spanish media reports.
