SOCCER CHIEFS ANNOUNCE TOURNAMENT TEAMS

Teams from Brazil, Ghana, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, South Korea, Thailand, Uzbekistan and host Bangladesh will play in the Second Bangabandhu Cup International Football Tournament.

BFF General Secretary Harunur Rashid said the tournament had been organised as a mark of respect to the country’s founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was popularly known as Bangabandhu. Rahman was killed in an army coup in 1975.
