Sky ad revenues and programming costs fall amid World Cup impact

Sky, the Comcast-owned European pay-TV broadcaster, has reported revenue reductions of 13 per cent and 11.5 per cent for the fourth quarter of 2022 and the full year, respectively, highlighting both positive and negative impacts from the staging of the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

The figures were detailed as Comcast today (Thursday) reported results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2022.
