Singtel and StarHub in talks for World Cup rights, RTM secures deal in Malaysia

Singaporean telecoms operators Singtel and StarHub are in talks to acquire rights to the 2022 Fifa World Cup.

The operators told local media outlet Channel News Asia, which is owned by national free-to-air broadcaster Mediacorp, they are in negotiations for the rights but are unable to comment further on the matter at this time.
