Singapore's Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Edwin Tong, told the country's Parliament yesterday (August 1) that it would cost S$2.3bn ($1.7bn/€1.6bn) to end the public-private partnership deal for the Sports Hub national stadium and sports facility.
Plans for the government to take over the running of the Sports Hub from the PPP were announced in June, when an estimated cost of S$2.5bn was given.
