US investment firm Silver Lake is investing close to A$140m ($100m/€89m) to acquire a 33-per-cent stake in Australian Professional Leagues (APL), the organisation that manages Australia's elite football leagues, the A-Leagues.
The deal, which was reported as imminent in October, values APL at around A$425m ($300m/€265m).
